We covers all standard maintenance. If your bike has an issue, you can simply swap it for a different one at a Yulu Zone. The first vehicle swap is free, with subsequent swaps costing. Any physical damages will be charged against the cost of damage and repairs.
How does this differ from Mid / High Speed Electric Vehicles?
For high-speed EVs (speeds over 25 kmph), the age limit is 18 years and a valid permanent driving licence is mandatory. Yulu’s 16+ limit is specific to its low-speed fleet.

How do I download and sign up?

What are the Rental Plans possible?
There are Flexi rentals for hours usually from 4hrs, 6 hrs, 12 hrs and 24 hrs and standard day rentals from ONE, THREE, SEVEN, 14 DAYS AND MONTHLY PLANS.
How do I lock/unlock the vehicle?
Walk to the chosen bike and use the Yulu app to scan the QR code located on the handlebar or panel via YULU app, you will find option to Lock and Unlock. Alternatively, you can manually enter the vehicle number to unlock it
What if I have an issue during the ride?
You can reach out to customer support directly via the 'Chat with us' option in the app for assistance with battery issues or vehicle exchanges.
Where can I end my ride?
You can ONLY end your ride at a designated Yulu Zone. Parking outside these zones will prevent the ride from ending and may result in penalties.
Whether we can use and pay?
No. The hiring method insists only pay and use along with the Security Deposit and Rental Plan cost in advance. The Security Deposit shall be claimed by riders at end of the plan by them via app, which they will get credited with 5 to 7 working days.
Where can I find these stations?
Stations are strategically placed in high-footfall areas. You can locate them directly on the Yulu app, which provide real-time updates on battery availability and station distance.
How much is the security deposit?
A refundable deposit is mandatory, typically ranging from ₹299 to ₹599 depending on your city and vehicle type.
How do I get my deposit back?
You can request a refund directly through the Yulu app. Once requested, the process usually takes 5 to 7 working days to return to your original payment method.
What happens if I park outside a Yulu Zone?
Rides can officially end only at designated Yulu Zones. If you leave a vehicle elsewhere, the meter continues to run, and you will be charged for non-compliance.
What happens if I ran out of battery outside a Yulu Zone?
If battery ran out outside the designated Yulu Zones because of Riders negligence then Road assistance to swap the battery will be provided, which is chargeable and the cost shall be deducted from the Security Deposit.
What are the possible penalties on Riders?
a. Pillion Riding: Yulu bikes are for solo riders only. Carrying another person is strictly prohibited.
b. Minor Riding: Allowing anyone under 16 years of age to operate the vehicle.
c. Vandalism & Damage: Riders are liable for any damage to parts or the whole bike. Fines for damage typically range between ₹100 and ₹12,000, and severe cases may lead to police reports.
d. DUI & Misconduct: Driving under the influence or abusing staff/field teams will result in penalties and account suspension.
